Recently, the School of Information held a special meeting on the employment of graduates of the Class of 2024 in Conference Room 910 of the School. College leaders, department heads, teachers' representatives, section-level cadres of the college and graduating class counselors participated in the meeting to discuss and study the direction and strategy of employment work in the next step.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lai Xinglin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee in charge of student work, introduced the overall situation of the college's current employment to the participants. Then, the graduating class counselor informed the employment data of each major one by one, and introduced the difficult problems in the current student employment. Then, the head of each department introduced the work measures and achievements taken by the department in promoting employment, guiding further studies and expanding posts.
Dean Yang Jianxi put forward three requirements for employment work: First, to guide students to understand the industry situation, to help students conduct scientific and reasonable personal positioning; Second, it is necessary to find out the situation of unemployed students in time, and carry out classified help and guidance; Third, the faculty and staff of the school should unify their thinking, strengthen the linkage of all departments and offices, and promote employment work together.
Hu Hao, secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out that employment is the foundation of people's livelihood and is of great significance to the country, society and individuals, and the faculty and staff of the school should attach great importance to the employment of students. He stressed that all departments and departments should perform their duties, change from passive to active, form a joint force, and make employment work more pragmatic and effective.
